About The Integration
Vandelay Ledger is a lightweight ledger built for companies that are not ready for a full ERP but have outgrown a shoebox of receipts. Fexiva becomes its transaction feed, so a founder or a part-time bookkeeper can keep accurate books in a few minutes a week, and when the company eventually needs something larger the history migrates cleanly because it was categorised properly from the first month rather than reconstructed later.
How To Connect This
Sign in to Vandelay from the Fexiva Integrations page and accept the default mapping, which covers most early-stage companies out of the box. Adjust any category once and Fexiva remembers the rule for every future transaction. Everything since your company start date can be imported in one pass.
Get Support
- Nightly sync with a manual refresh whenever you need it.
- Simple category mapping with suggestions based on merchant, so most transactions need no attention at all.
- Receipts attach automatically.
- Year-end export in the formats accountants actually ask for.
- Email support with a public status page.

What Syncs Automatically
- Every card and account transaction lands in Vandelay already categorised, with the receipt attached and the merchant normalised, so the weekly bookkeeping session becomes a quick review of a handful of exceptions rather than a session of typing numbers from a bank statement.
- Monthly summaries for investors and the year-end export are generated from the same data, which means the numbers a founder shares with the board are the numbers the accountant files, and nobody has to explain why two versions of the same month look different.
Why Founders Start Here
Founders keep bookkeeping under control before they can afford a finance hire, without learning an accounting system to do it.
When it is time to upgrade, the history migrates cleanly to a larger system because it was coded consistently from day one, and the categories, vendors and receipts come with it. Several customers have moved from Vandelay to Initech ERP through Fexiva without a single re-keyed transaction, which is exactly the kind of boring outcome an early-stage finance stack should deliver.
