About The Integration

Umbrella Insights compares anonymised spend patterns across thousands of companies to show you where your costs sit relative to businesses of a similar size and stage. Connected to Fexiva, it tells you when software subscriptions, travel or vendor concentration drift away from your peers, and it does so with real category totals rather than survey estimates, which makes the benchmarks useful in an actual negotiation.

How To Connect This

Enable the integration from the Integrations page and pick the benchmarking cohort that fits you, by industry, headcount band and region. Data is shared in aggregate only, never at transaction level, and sharing can be paused from the admin settings at any time without losing your existing reports.

Get Support

  • Weekly benchmark digest by email and inside the app.
  • Alerts when a category moves more than a threshold you set, compared with your own history or your cohort.
  • Vendor overlap reports across your tools.
  • Data-sharing controls managed at the admin level.
  • Support through the Umbrella customer portal.

What Syncs Automatically

  1. Category totals by month and the vendor list with contract renewal dates flow to Umbrella on a schedule you control, and come back as a ranked view of where you are spending more or less than companies like yours, so the conversation moves from feelings about cost to evidence about it.
  2. Headcount band is used only to normalise the comparison, so a fifty-person company is measured against other fifty-person companies rather than against enterprises, and the results update each month as your own numbers and the cohort's numbers change together.

Why Procurement Teams Use It Before Renewals

Teams discover duplicate tools and over-market rates within the first month, usually in categories nobody thought to examine.

Renewal negotiations start with data rather than guesswork, and because the alerts run continuously, a category that starts to drift is noticed in the month it happens rather than at the annual budget review. Most customers report that the first quarter of savings covers the integration many times over, and the reports become part of every renewal discussion after that.
