Initech ERP

About The Integration

Initech ERP runs procurement, inventory and finance for mid-sized companies that have outgrown a simple ledger but still want one system of record. Fexiva feeds it approved card spend and reimbursements with the cost centre, project and tax dimensions your controllers expect already attached, so nothing needs to be re-coded downstream and the ERP stays the single source of truth for every expense that touches the business.

How To Connect This

Connect using an Initech integration user with posting rights, then map Fexiva teams to Initech cost centres in the mapping screen. Choose the posting frequency you prefer, real time, hourly or end of day, and use test mode to preview the journals Fexiva would create before anything is actually posted.

Get Support

  • Dimension mapping covers cost centre, project, department and location.
  • Posting errors returned by Initech are shown with the original message so they can be fixed without opening the ERP.
  • A dry-run mode previews the next batch.
  • Change logs record who altered a mapping and exactly when.
  • Enterprise support with a named contact.

What Syncs Automatically

  1. Approved expenses and card transactions post as journals with every dimension filled in, and vendors created in either system appear in the other within the hour, so purchasing and finance never maintain two separate supplier lists that slowly drift apart over time.
  2. Tax codes and rates are read from the Initech configuration rather than duplicated in Fexiva, which means a rate change made once by the tax team is applied to every new transaction without anyone updating a second table or remembering to tell another department.

Why Controllers Keep Initech In Charge

Controllers keep Initech as the source of truth while employees never have to open it, which is exactly how both groups prefer it.

Audit trails span both systems, from the card swipe on a phone to the posted journal in the ERP, with the approver and the receipt attached at every step. When an auditor asks how a number was arrived at, the answer is a single click rather than a week of emails, and that alone has convinced several finance teams to move the rest of their spend onto Fexiva.
